ADAMS is an online system which allows restricted sharing of data only with those organisations with a right to access such data in accordance with the Code. Athletes can access ADAMS via the website, using their unique login details.
Available in English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Russian, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, Korean and Arabic, not only is ADAMS easy to use, it is also free for WADA’s stakeholders allowing them to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the fight against doping in sport. ADAMS’ multi-level access system protects the security and confidentiality of data.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has introduced two-factor authentication for ADAMS to increase data security. SLADA has created an Operator’s Guide 1 – 2 for athletes explaining the key steps in establishing two-factor authentication. SLADA notes that the suspension of two-factor authentication is voluntary and that athletes have the right to refuse it.
